Winter is coming...

Dear families, as you know, winter is coming. You put on your coats and jackets everyday. The sky is darker and days are shorter than months ago. Despite this, do not feel upset because we are glad to share with you the first activity that all the students of Primary level made at the beginning of the course.

The activity was called: Dreaming my summer, and now that we probably need holydays we firmly believe that is a good moment to show you all their pictures.
Maybe you can feel better if you can see the sun and feel the warm weather while dreaming a summer that is so far away.

Just close your eyes, dream and travel… let yourself go…

YONI ALTER... COMING SOON!!

Dear families,
as you know, in Arts and Crafts class we learn a lot about artists and their artworks.
After Christmas we will start a new one , whose name is YONI ALTER, that will bring us amazing surprises...

There are two new aspects through this unit:

* We will work on this artist from 1st to 6th grade- THE WHOLE PRIMARY LEVEL!

* Yoni Alter will collaborate with us!! in fact, all the children have thought different questions that they would like to ask him... and we will have got an unbelievable surprise very soon. Moreover, we will live an incredible experience during second term.

We also want to share with you the artwork that one of our students from 4th grade has made being inspired by him.

In 5th grade, the pupils have presented their projects about a famous sportsperson. Well done! 

MATHS IN ENGLISH

We have been practising how to solve maths' problems in the English class in 2nd of Primary level.

We have learnt the three main parts of a problem and enjoyed solving them.

Some 1st ESO students have prepared an exhibition about a rare bug. They have learned a lot of interesting things!!

PICASSO IN 1st!

We've just started working Pablo Picasso in art class of 1st of Primary level. The first activity is related to the Blue Period.

In this period Picasso was very sad because one of his best friends had died and,  due to that, his artworks are really sad and painted in blue.

We're almost finishing our artworks and within a few days they will be shown in school's hallways.

The 6th-grade students have performed a very funny role play where they were fortune tellers. They have practiced future tenses while having fun :)

We've just finished Yayoi Kusama in arts and crafts class in first of Primary level.

We want to share with you these gourgeous flowers representing the sculputure of flowers that she makes.




They are full with polka dots, aren't they cute?
Our wall is completely colourful weolcoming the spring.

"You can't take an elephant on the bus" A new story in 2nd level!

 We've just started a new story in 2nd of Primary level, it is called "You can't take an elephant on the bus!" by Patricia Cleveland-Peck.








We are learning different transports and we have watched a funny video linked to this.

Sure we will enjoyed a lot!

The sixth grade pupils have made some mobiles with the postcards they had sent to one another. They are beautiful!!

MAGRITTE IN 2nd Primary level

We have done Magritte in 2nd of Primary level. One of the activities we want to show you is this!

We have pinted two doves (one for the day and one for the night) and we have put them in the opposite backgrounds.


Do you like it? We do!

This is 6th grade. We are writing postcards in the English class. We will send them to one another. Hopefully we'll receive them very soon!

NEW STORIES IN 1st and 2nd level

Dear families, in Cicle Inicial we've just started new stories in English class.

We are doing A taste of the Moon in 1st of Primary level. It is about animals that try to reach the Moon and taste it. They want to know what it tastes like and only one very small animal will reach it.
A nice story based on friendship and the importance of sharing dreams.














Lost and Found is the story that kids of 2nd level have started. It is about a penguin that is lost and a boy that finds it. He doesn't know where the penguins come from and finally he is able to help de penguin to find its home. What they don't know is how they will feel when they have to say goodbye each other. A story also based on friendship and real love.








Two stories full of great values and really amazing. We are learning a lot of vocabulary, grammar structures and, above all, of feelings.
