YAYOI KUSAMA IN OUR ART CLASS!

In 1st of Primary Level we have learnt a lot about Yayoi Kusama!

Yayoi Kusama is a Japanese artist affected by a mental illness called schizophrenia.

That is why her art shows the obsession in art.

This obsession is represented by the famous "polka dots". Lots of colouful dots are shown in her paintings and sculptures.

 
 



One of her favourite elements are the PUMPKINS .










We have been Little Yayoi Kusamas in art class and we have made amazing pumpkins full of polka dots.

The corridor is decorated with these colourful pumpkins.

It is really nice, isn't it?
